5. Isocore announced the opening of registration for MPLS 2006 conference


1. The iPOP2006, the 2nd annual International Conference on IP-Optical Network
will take place in Tokyo, June 22 to 23. This is the last opportunity to submit
your extended summary, as the Call for Papers for this year's event will close
shortly.

iPOP 2006 is fast establishing itself as Asia's premier conference in the
IP-Optical network technologies.  The event will be held at Meiji Kinenkan in
the central area of Tokyo. The conference is intended to share among the
industry and the academia communities, the knowledge, new findings, and
experience on the state-of-the art of IP and optical networking technologies.

2. iPOP2006 will features a public demonstration of IP/MPLS/Metro Ethernet/GMPLS
interoperability by world-wide vendors, novel product exhibitions, and technical
sessions. The opportunity to participate is open to all Isocore members. The
staging for the event will be held as part of the regular Isocore LEC event
scheduled for last week of April and first week of May.


3. Registration has begun for the International Conference on Network Security
2006 taking place April 17-19 in Reston,
Virginia(http://www.isocore.com/networksecurity2006/onlineregis.htm).  The
conference promises to be a highly informative and interactive event devoted to
the subject of security in networks, applications, and critical information
infrastructure. The goal of the conference is to facilitate a shift in the
current paradigm to a more implementation oriented model for Network and

4. Next Issue of Isonotes, Isocore's periodic newsletter will be published in
March. We are soliciting articles.  Please contact Robert Holliday at

5. Registration for MPLS2006 (October 15-18, Washington), the 9th annual
International Conference on Multi Protocol Label Switching and Related
Technologies is open nowhttp://www.isocore.com/mpls2006/onlineregis.htm. In
addition to its numerous networking opportunities and the accompaniment of
Isocore October Inter-op event, MPLS2006 will also continue to provide a highly
