[mpls] Fw: Questions about draft-ietf-mpls-rsvp-lsp-fastreroute-07

I have some questions about draft-ietf-mpls-rsvp-lsp-fastreroute-07,could you please explain them for me?

(1) What is the difference between "Backup Tunnel" and "Bypass Tunnel", their definitions are as follows:

Bypass Tunnel - An LSP that is used to protect a set of LSPs  passing over a common facility.

Backup Tunnel - The LSP that is used to backup up one of the many LSPs in many-to-one backup.

 (2) In section "5.1 FAST_REROUTE Object", following fields are defined:

Exclude-any: A 32-bit vector representing a set of attribute filters associated with a backup path any of which renders a link unacceptable.

Include-any: A 32-bit vector representing a set of attribute filters  associated with a backup path any of

which renders a link acceptable (with respect to this test). A null set (all bits set to zero) automatically

passes.

My question is£º How does PLR know which link is related to the particular bit in the 32-bit vector? i.e. with a particular 32-bit vector value, how does PLR know which links are acceptable, and which links are unacceptable, and if we have the ¡°Exclude-any¡± vector, why we still need the ¡°Include-any¡± vector, I think, with the information of links which marked as ¡°unacceptable¡± by Exclude-any vector, we can get the information of links which marked as ¡°acceptable¡± by ¡°Include-any¡± vector.

Thank you very much!

Regards

Defeng Li
