Having been on some security related mailing lists in a past life that
required that message be signed, it surprises me that IETF WGs have
not required that messages to the mailing lists be signed. It might
up the clue factor in addition to getting rid of the spam and viruses.

GPG anyone? (Now lets hear the M$soft weenies whine in unison - the
people causing this problem by running that security-hole ridden junk).

:-)
