Hello rahul,
You said in your darft that it is desired to keep core routers free of
multicast routing state .. OK but what exactly happen in "core router
P1" in your figure 1. P1 is a branching node ?? Join messages should
stop there normally but you don't have multicast protocol in core
network ?? do you intend to duplicate packets from Spe1 one to R2 and
one to R4 ?
