well if there was no confusion, the question would have
been why such e-mail exchanges, imho they translate the
need for consolidating the various work performed in
different wg after two years of sustained sup-ip area
efforts,... in any case such i-d's won't hurt whose that 
knows but certainly help in moving forward (taking here a
broader perspective) with these efforts
