GMPLS features applicable to MPLS

Yes, IMHO GMPLS was always sort of a version 2 of MPLS being backward 
compatible with version 1 (MPLS) still runs for packet space, but extensted 
to be useful for other technologies.

Might be a good idea to write down the applicability of GMPLS to packet 
networks.
