Hello!
Draft: Framework for MPLS-based recovery.

I am trying to find out how this document describes 1+1 protection.
By 1+1 protection I mean a bridging of working and protection entity. The traffic on working and protection entities is transmitted SIMULTANEOUSLY to the sink of the protected domain.
A-source
B-sink
Rx-Routers
LSP-1:A-R1-R2-B
LSP-2:A-R3-R4-B

A _________R1_______R2________o
          \
            \ <---o-------- B
               \________R3_____R4______o

This of course requires twice the bandwidth, but on the other hand offers a very fast protection switching.

Is this considered in the draft-ietf-mpls-recovery-frmwrk-03.txt?

Best regards
Per Eirik
