I don't know what you are getting at. MPLS is recognizable
in the forwarding plane. Yakov said this is not a requirement.
I pointed out that while this is true, in practice, for whatever
reason we end up putting a recognizable layer in the forwarding
plane. I just called it like I see it. If you want to build a new
OSI model to describe this then that is your prerogative. I don't
see the need.
