Hi Bob Thomas,

As per LDP-07 draft it's mentioned that if a loop is detected in the
mapping message, then the status TLV must be appended to the release
  message.

My doubt is if the status TLV is appended to the release message
for the loop detected case in the map message, is it necessary to
forward down to the egress in the ordered control mode.
i.e Is the forward bit has to be set in the status code??

In the case of independent mode for the condition above the label with
draw will be sent upstream . Is there any status TLV to be appended
for this with draw message sent upstream.

As far as implementation we feel that it would be better to treat messages
other than Notif message with status TLV's to be handled by well defined
   events under appropriate LSP states.

      Looking for your valuable inputs,

  Thanks in advance,
   with regards
   Mohan Varma
