Regd. Signaling protocols

Bhaskar,

Perhaps the single biggest factor in determining
the signaling protocol used by any LSR at each interface
is the signaling protocol capabilities of its nearest
neighbor on that interface. It's arguable that any
implementation that is concerned about being inter-
operable with other implementations (and useful in a
larger number of scenarios) would include a capability
to be configured on a per-interface basis for signaling
protocol support.

Some implementations are less concerned about
interoperability concerns than others.
