I think we're looking for a well constructed piece of text that
clearly and without repetition shows how MPLS-with-DiffServ is
built from basic building blocks. This tends to form a tree, rather
than a mesh.

You may have a sense of clarity because you've been immersed in the
document for a long time. Last calls are meant to elicit fresh
perspectives, and my fresh perspective is that the document requires
far greater conciseness in order to achieve clarity.
